Civic muffler / resonator delete

Hey all

Seeing who has a 01-03 Civic and has taken out either resonator or muffer?

Just wanna hear the results on sound, pros and cons for it

I'm looking for a little bit of a deeper tone and dont have the cash to get a full exhaust kit atm and I want something a bit deeper and louder than stock

Thanks

Buy an intake. There are hundreds of thousands of them out there for civic's and it will give a deeper sound and u will be able to find a used one for cheap not to mention will give u a little extra power. Taking ur resonator out won't do much in terms of power or sound. And taking ur muffler out completely the sound is terrible and likely to get yourself a VI ( vehicle inspection) from the police.

^I agree..removing either of those will make the car sound terrible....save up and buy an proper exhaust or dont bother.
