FS: 2003 Honda S2000
Up for sale today is my 2003 Honda S2000. For the s2000 connoisseurs, you will know that the 2003 is one of the most sought after years for the s2000. 2003 was the last year of the AP1, so the car retains the award winning F20C, 2l engine with 9,000 RPM redline. The 2003, while retaining the F20C, comes factory equipped with a handful of upgrades that previous years did not receive. This includes a glass rear window, with defroster and an upgraded sound system.

The cosmetic work was done with a mind on being a tasteful show car. You wont find tons of bondo or oversized spoilers on this roadster, but rather a tasteful kit, SSR wheels and classic Honda black paint. Although the car was not built to scream 'look at me!', its certainty not a common machine, the phrase 'WOW! What kind of car is that?' is heard almost daily.

Although the car started out on the show circuit, performance was not neglected. This roadster sports a fully built engine, including but not limited to, iron sleeves, forged roads and forged cp pistons. The block was built by ERL performance and claims testing to 40psi. The car puts down around 350hp to the rear wheels, factoring in drive train loss this nets engine output to just under 400hp or and amazing 200hp/liter. This power is achieved by a Comptech supercharger kit, including front mounted liquid after cooler.

Highlights:
The car...
is equipped with Hondata K-Pro engine management
has an upgraded sound-system containing updated speakers/tweeters, two amps and a 10” trunk mounted JL subwoofer
is equipped with both a removable Mugen (#46 ) hard-top and the factory mechanical soft-top
has defi electronic boost and oil pressure gages
rides on buddy club race-spec coilovers is stopped by 4 wheel disk brakes with an NSX wilwood big break kit up front.

This car is without a doubt the most fun car I have ever driven and does an amazing job at outperforming, out driving and outshining cars three times its price! Please feel free to e-mail with any further questions.

The car currently has 28,000 miles

It is a US registered car, i just happen to be living in Vancouver at the moment.
Please don't hesitate to email me with questions or offers.

I have never imported a car, my understand is that its rather straightforward with a mass production car like this. I'm willing to help in any way i can, but it is the buyers ultimate responsibility.

Asking 24,500 as it (with SSR Rims and authentic Mugen Hard-top)

Lots of interest, but cash talks!

Also, Clean Title.
Since I've got the hard-top the soft-top is in amazing shape.

I think the US title scares people

flagella 07-04-2010 06:57 PM

^absolutely nothing wrong with US title. The price is crazy for the value put into this car. I'd buy it in a heart beat if I didn't already have an S.

Mugen HT itself can be sold for 3k easily. Comptech SC can be sold for 4k if you wanna go back to NA (why would u though?). So basically you're buying 17,500. I didn't even include the rims and BBK too, and those would be easily sold for a couple of grand.

BlackZRoadster 07-04-2010 08:04 PM

classic honda black ?
is it berlina black?

turbocoupe 07-11-2010 10:33 AM

Yes sir, Berlina black.
Flagella, thanks for the nice words. People think the price is high but its nice that someone sees the truth in it!
The buyer could turn around and sell the mugen hood or HT for a few grand and have an amazing car still at an unbelievable price.

beautiful car - just sold my 2003 good luck with your sale bro : )
for those looking to import be sure to look into the new HST I'm not sure if that'll add another 6% to importing this ride... it could be north of 20% premium on price

turbocoupe 07-17-2010 10:12 AM

Well some sh*thead hit the car the other night so it now needs a new door-skin on the drivers side.
I don't have time to get it repaired but the estimates all weighed in at just under 2,000. Because of this I am dropping the price down to 20,000 as-is.

Thanks for the breakdown, hopefully it can help potential Canadian buyers.
