i drove a tuned volvo s40 t5 fwd. Chip, intake, and exhaust. That thing had some mean torque steer...

haha sorry Gab but I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree.

I honestly don't understand why torque steer is so widely talked about in the media and among enthusiasts. Unless you're a scrawny ass asian kid (and even then) it should be nothing to you to hold the wheel straight. I think if there are complaints to be made about FWD platforms, torque steer should really be about last on that list.

When I had my jetta, (over 350hp) I had little to no problems with torque steer... had LSD and basically sold mounts... even with that the electro mechanical steering also did an amazing job keeping torque steer away as well!

i don't feel any torque steer on my EK until i break 8000rpm. even then, it's not super bad!

Well, you kind of need torque for torque steer... :p

yeah i have a turbo ls-vtec and it has mad torque steer. i just got used to it. plus i have been driving fwd all my life
