lol.. you just reminded my about my last year Canada day. Me and one of my friends went to english beach to watch the fireworks, but that wasn't where it was.

moral of the story: research before setting off.

Just finished celebrating Canada Day at LKF in HK with a bunch of Canadian girls, Caucasions and CBC's. Beats watching weak fireworks at Canada Place :)

Cant Vancouver get good weather when it matters? For fock sakes!

Ive been keeping an eye on the weather for the past week...they predicted sunny for thursday.

Now it's cloudy with chance of showers....great.

At the same time if there's anything I've learned living here that is to never trust the weather report. Too often it says it's sunny only to turn out and rain or they say it's going to rain only to turn out sunny without a drop of rain. What I also hate is when you do a quick google search some websites clearly say rain and some cleary say sun. You can't trust anybody.

twitchyzero - Even though the following information is suggesting places to go hopefully this will at least help you in planning where to go.

The Burrard Inlet Fireworks Society will be staging a fireworks show on two barges in Coal Harbour off Canada Place and Dundarave Pier in West Vancouver beginning at 10:30pm on July 1

Mananetwork 06-30-2010 03:54 PM

I'm celebrating Canada with my new best friend HST. I'm sure you've all met him! Can't wait to pay more taxes!

Anurag 06-30-2010 05:53 PM
