CANADA DAY!!!

What are you guys doing on Canada day this Thursday? Last year checked out the Salmon Festival and the Floats/Parades. Was pretty interesting for my first time but looking to do something more exciting this year.

Are there good places to get hammered for "Canada Day Prices" or other events to check out throughout the lower mainland? HST is going to be initiated soon so we better enjoy it before we start paying more for everything

Gonna be spending my day on RS, and then vent about how I missed out on the festivities.

Oh shit. Thanks for the reminder, OP. Gotta get a flag holder for the front of the house. Couldn't put the flag up last year. After the move to the new house things were still in boxes. Couldn't find the friggin flag. Gotta call my buddy who plays the bagpipes to come over on Canada Day. People will do anything for my famous miso, maple syrop, and mirin BBQed salmon.

The Canada Day celebration in Cloverdale. I went last year not expecting much but had a great time. Plan on taking my family there again this year.

Going to the aquarium with friends. Then back downtown, maybe check out the festivities at Canada Place and see the cauldron lit again. Dinner and drinks somewhere and capped off with fireworks at Canada Place.

tacobell 06-29-2010 09:25 AM

hookers and blow, oh the cauldron will be lit on canada day if you're into that

SB7 06-29-2010 10:09 AM
