how much is regular down there right now?

skyxx 06-30-2010 12:18 PM

I don't get it. "Oh I'm gonna fill up gas today/tonight cause the carbon tax will increase percentage". What are you gonna do when you run out of gas? Not get it? or stock up on jerry cans full of gas???? I don't see much in this. You have a car, it's insured. Drive it. If you can't stand the price, change your driving habits or drive less during recreation. OR take the 52 seater.

Jayboogz 06-30-2010 12:37 PM

Better not be like a year or two ago where the price actually dipped after carbon tax...

No doubt in that case you might as well fucking stock up on everything else bunker styles. Go get a haircut today before it's too late, go get your clothes dry cleaned before it's too late, and go eat out one last time before it's too late!

Completely bunk arguments and logic.

What are you going to do when you run out of gas after the HST comes? Fill up, of course.

That has nothing to do with wanting to fill up one last time before the HST comes.

Especially if you already have an empty tank, you might as well fill it up tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow as it could save you a little bit of money.

Same as everything else... it only makes sense to get some things done before a price increase. If you need a haircut anyway, if it's convenient to do today instead of tomorrow, why wait until the HST comes? But a month from now when you need your next haircut, obviously there's no choice... you have to pay what you have to pay.

he is telling you to run your tank dry untill you have no choice but to fill it up at whatever price it will be than. because filling it up now when its cheaper doesn't make sense

Ducdesmo 06-30-2010 03:00 PM

I pay 90 cents for 92 at Chevron in Blaine :D

Uh no, he's saying it is absolutely absurd to get all bent out of shape and change your plans and freak out over such a small amount of money.

johny 06-30-2010 05:49 PM

don't we have cabon tax and HST being added ? so it's gona up like 10 cents. 2cents for carbon and 7% for HST hike over gst.

c32 06-30-2010 05:52 PM

so what are we looking at here.... $50 of gas with a $5 HST charge? or is the tax included with the gas prices

!Nhan 06-30-2010 06:24 PM
