Fiber optic to the home

I just moved into a new condo, completed this month.
I know two guys living on metrotown bestbuy condo and they get free fiber optic for a year!
I was hoping to have FTTH but when I called telus, all they could offer me was regular highspeed.
would CSR know if fiberoptic is available or not from looking at my address?
I chatted with building manager but they dont know seem to know anything
if it's not available on my building, too bad but if it is....

The fibre may be provided by another company, in which case, Telus may not be able to give you the info.

Most new buildings should have fibre optic wiring.

My building was finished in 2007, but it took 2 years of wrangling between Novus and our strata council before we could utilize the technology. I would give Novus a call and see if your building is on their radar.

Once you go fibre optic, you'll never want to go back.
