i was lower it drove like shit, Jason at Dale's Alignment set it to the most optimum height for what i need.

G-spec 08-05-2010 09:39 PM

nice car izzer, looks really good, but yea it's not necessary to slam it but it wouldn't hurt to eliminate all the fender gap.

I prefer my stance pokey + stretchy, just did a test fit the other day

edit

btw it's not gonna poke out this much when the car is dropped on the ground, wheels will tuck in a little

izzer 08-05-2010 10:08 PM

^Thanks, yeah i plan to lower it for meets etc, other then that i like the settings for daily driving, those pics were taken during the BBQ meet/cruse

My wheels stuck out about the same when i did the test fitting, I cant wait to see the finished product!

I love the finish on your Enkeis man, looks gangster, nice touch with the blue valve cap, lol... lookin forward to seeing your ride at the RS summer meet bro.

but yea man it always sticks out a bit more when you raise the car, it helps that the G coupes have massive fenders in the rear, that's a 12.5 wide rim with a +5 offset... you can fit some serious wheels on a G, one of the reasons I bought it

My stance is flush, but I'm switching to a 60 profile tire to fill out my front wheelwell (seriously, it's THAT big of a gap right now). However, I'm scrubbing sidewall on the rear right tire when making left turns, and I'm at STOCK height with unrolled fenders on a 50 profile. Might have to adjust my driving style a bit (I'm new to the fitment game, it's my first set of rims).

Sorry if fat sidewalls are not people's bag, but it's the best I can do for my car without cutting springs.

IMO offset aint everything unless you've got the right width tire, camber, and height.
