Flavoured Cigarillos And Cigarettes ( BLUNTWRAPS!) Off Store Shelves July 5

http://www.torontonews24.com/latest-...shelves-july-5

TORONTO - Canada's tough new anti-tobacco law, Bill C-32, comes into effect on Monday, July 5. Retailers will no longer be allowed to sell fruit- and candy-flavoured cigarillos (little cigars), cigarettes, and blunt wraps (rolling papers made of tobacco). In Ontario, similar provincial legislation to ban flavoured cigarillos will come into force on July 1.

not alot of news on this probably until tommorow when the bans in place.

better go get your blunt wraps from the stores before their illegal!!!!

considering its tobacco and stuff I have a feeling that once its gone it will never come back legally.

some people told me that there will be a legal version of bluntwraps be released but it will cost more $ and wont taste as good.

i got my stock already :)

El Bastardo 07-04-2010 08:28 PM

Thats straight-up bullshit. Just because the Yankees banned similar products doesn't mean we should follow suit.

vafanculo 07-04-2010 08:30 PM

A year ago I'd be all over this. But now I just tap da bong

Got my buddy to mail me some blunt paper from vancovuer to hong kong a month back and found out about this stupid new law. My buddy told met he shop keeper wouldn't sell him individual wraps? it had to be purchase in bulk? and than after july 5 it will be gone.

does that mean its illegal to own as well? what a gay law, i doubt any kid will mistake it as candy, if they do and try to bite off a piece it will be too bitter to swallow and the kid will probably not do it again and ell all his frds

woob 07-04-2010 09:16 PM

yup some corner stores said 10 minimum buy 10 get 1 free kinda deal

different offers different places :)

i was gonna grab 100 straight up but i figured they had a giant stock and it would be cheaper on canada day.. turns out i was wrong and there was barely some flavors left. however some places had the 2 in 1 juicy jays and even 3 in 1, biggie blunts ftw

i dident want to pick up a box of just 1 flavor. but betwene me and my buddy we got like 300+ all sorts of flavors :)<3

ToyotaPowah 07-04-2010 09:53 PM

This law is retarded. Bunch of my friends aren't gonna be happy to hear this.

They passed a similar law first.

I don't even smoke weed... why do I know so much about this?

adambomb 07-04-2010 10:27 PM

As a daily weed smoker...meh. The loss of blunt papers is no big deal. I don't think i've bought one since highschool. I find they ruin the taste of the weed and they are a waste of weed themselves. I'd rather puff on a small amount then roll a huge party joint that only gets half smoked.

Blunt papers and fat joints are for show. Bring one out for your birthday and if you plan to smoke up all of your friends (you know, the cheap asses who never have any weed). Otherwise, all you really need is a regular joint or a bong hit to get high.

:hat:

i some what agree, but its nice to be able to switch it one once in a while. Blunt is also good if you are smoking in the car, it doesn't smell as much as joints and if you are rollin n blazin you look like you are holding a cigar. If for some reason you end up with green that is not kush you can wrap it up in a blunt and call it a day. Not to mention you can put out a blunt and pick it up later to smoke it without it tasting gross, try that with joints.

Oh man the more i think about it the more piss i'm about this law.

murd0c 07-04-2010 10:59 PM

and dont forget its slow burning which is awesome to sit outside in the summer and pass around.

Dentz 07-04-2010 11:14 PM

Dur, this has been a long time coming; knew about it at least 8-months ago.

Bullseye is coming out with some natural flavour/menthol combo, and same with primetime; until then all of those are gonzo.

woob 07-05-2010 06:42 AM

I'm not looking for flavoured papers as I've given up weed (again), but cherry Black Stones are my go-to chill smoke. Can someone recommend a natural-flavoured replacement? I might just start smoking straight tobacco from a pipe....

problem solved

Mugen EvOlutioN 07-05-2010 07:34 AM

pretty cool

SkinnyPupp 07-05-2010 08:07 AM

So what is their reasoning for this? Does this help prevent kids from smoking cigarettes?

Yep that's the whole reason, ever since these
cigarillos came out the percent of younger
kids smoking skyrocketed. The goverment is
saying its a gateway to getting them to smoke
Regular cigaretts so that's why its been banned
Country wide.
