braces are a lot better now -- faster and more comfortable -- i use the Damon system for most of my patients

i just got in a new kind of lingual (inside) braces that are really cool

Hey any of you RS peeps need braces or Invisalign-- come see me. I'm a certified specialist in Orthodontics that happens to drive a Type R

www.drsuzuki.com

most treatments take 18 months or so.

ps any treatment that is 5 years long is not good treatment -- i'm just sayin'.

haha, i was about to get those lingual braces but my friend told me that they are a pain in the asss

My braces would've came off earlier but its my own fault i'm just too lazy to wear the elastics to correct my midline.

And mainly because they had to wait untill i got my lower 8's(wisdom) taken out.

Man I only got 6 months more to go:woot: (hopefully) Then i need to wear a retainer etc etc. The key to shortening time is making sure your teeth are constantly clean and you do everything you're told. Clean teeth/gums move faster making the braces more effective. Sure it can be a pita but its worth it- and you get nice clean teeth FTW

Is this true or false teeth?

fixed.

False teeth from bad car accident, this chick I knew in college gave awesome head. Never found out until after it was over. Freaked me out when she said, "I figured I didn't need these."

And yes, she swallowed.......... amazing tongue work, too.

how much are those lingual braces? are they more expensive?

CorneringArtist 07-10-2010 01:31 PM

Kinda cool vid.

I was supposed to get braces like 8 years ago, but my family couldn't afford them, let alone for my brother as well. My teeth aren't really fucked up (upper left incisor is WAY too far back between my left canine and left front tooth due to a baby tooth not falling out before it started growing, and bottom row has some crowding), but I could sure use them to straighten things up.

On the topic of braces, has anyone done underbite / overbite surgery? How much did it cost / how much was covered by dental insurance? TIA

orthodontic treatment that involves surgery of the upper or lower jaw usually costs in the range of $10-12K . the orthodontic fee is typically 7K and the surgery fee is 5K.

dental insurance will cover the braces but not the surgery
