probably one the best investments you can get :P had mine for
5 years, and 2 years of the wired retainer. now i have to wear this plastic retainer once a month for the rest of my life ... D: painful yes, but totally worth it LOl

thankfully, I was only stuck with braces for a little over 10 months. Only 2 teeth needed correcting :D

i was one of the first ones in my age group to get braces (grade 3)...had 'em off before i went to high school.

i never ended up wearing the retainers though after the braces were off.

they are just pictures compiled to look like a video

5.5 years and still counting... Sigh taking so damn long.

lol, it probably wouldn't make a difference, since the brackets are on the front
of the teeth.

Somehow, the bottom row's fked up. Cause 3 of my bottom front teeth
are lined up with my top 2 front ones. So it's like staggered...

Looks something like this... no idea how that happened...

All my teeth's been lined up already and straight for years, but they aren't shifting over
so the lower row lines up. To be honest, I don't really care anymore...

Seriously, for those of you who still have braces, listen to your ortho and wear your retainers. After all that pain and suffering, wearing a retainer for a few hours a day/week/month is worth it.

I didn't and my teeth relapsed. They're not as bad as before, but still - all that time/effort/money wasted!
