Stance:nation is looking for a reason to come to Canada: Give them some?

Hey gais. I just caught wind that Stance:nation is doing a photoshoot in the Pacific NW on facebook and I suggested them to come to Vancouver tomorrow or the day after.

Now they are asking if I can show them some proper STANCE to make it worth their time so if you guys would kindly throw on pics of your well-stanced cars in this thread that would help me prove to them that we have a strong case here for them to come up for a shoot. (this thread is visible by anyone). LET'S make Vancouver proud!

It all rests on how good this thread looks in a couple of hours coz they are deciding now so make it a good show RS!!!!! They want a feature and boy by looking just left and right on the street I KNOW we have a show for THEM!

Let the picture rain in!!!!111ONE DO IT NAO!

just so you know they are LEGIT:

I'm the nerd holding on to Takeda harness T-shirt LOL.

Probably not low enough for what they like

The tires were on backwards for a test fit only.

I'd suggest that silver S2000 with the blue TE37's be featured.

hk20000 thnx for this post ><
I'm the photog for stance:nation that's in charge of West Coast Canada/ Seattle area.
I've been hunting down stanced cars for a while now, and there's only a handful.. most of which comes extremely close to the criteria but majority falls short either not being low enough or hella wheel gap.
Elvis ( the head admin and creator of stance:nation) is looking for cars that are proper. Cars that are low, stanced, flushed, poking with little to no wheel gap :)

^Roach you have the right idea, and yes not low enough. But none the less beautiful set up :)
And yes the silver s2k, i am in the progress of hunting him down.. it's extremely hard to find these people with minimal connections :( (so if u can help out that would be cool)

on a side note to hk20000. It might just be me but most of the cars i see out on the streets, yes they are tuned, they are decked out modded, "proper" but so far out of all the nicely tuned cars in Vancouver and area, I've only seen 4 or 5 cars that fit the "stanced, wheel poke, 0 wheel gap.. etc etc" criteria. I went down to Seattle for the fatlace meet just this weekend and managed to chat with a few guys form hellaflush and also to check out the local scene. And ya its' pretty damn dailed in down there. The scene is slowly moving across the boarder, but its' still not apparent.

hk20000 07-12-2010 06:36 PM

Then let me hand pick a few from the spotted forum let me know what you think:

Those SerialNine cars should do the trick I would think?

What I have been thinking is the Vdubbers around town some do sport some rather extreme stance but I don't know where the local VW forums is (VWV?)

genesis195 07-12-2010 06:46 PM

serial Nine LOl yes they fit criteria, i saw the post in the spotted forum a long time ago.. might be my fail at tracking down people but i still haven't' foudn them ==, i see them alot on other blogs and even magazines.
only problem is, it's near impossible to track people down individually and contact them to arrange a shoot.

I really hope the stance scene of Vancouver start surfacing so people like me wont' have to dig so deep to find people.. and not to trash stance:nation, but I'm not getting paid for this hahaha, I'm doing it out of my spare time and my pure love for stanced cars, hence I can't invest all my time in this..
I beg of you guys please gimme something to shoot >< or a name that i can at least go from and hunt down someone. LOL

hk20000 07-12-2010 06:52 PM

If you do want Serial Nine I have that brown car's owner's phone number right here....

genesis195 07-12-2010 06:55 PM

hk20000 i love u :) pm it to me :) if he has email that would be even better :)

!Yaminashi 07-12-2010 07:42 PM

I dont think its that the scene hasnt made its way up here, our roads arent suited for the scene; theyre fucking terrible!

Running on stance coils and this is as low as the coils would let me go. Not the car the coilovers. Not the best photographer cause i just took it 5 min ago at
the back alley. Car is not clean cause of the trip to FD.

I don't know how to post pics on the thread, each time i do, the pics are too big but if the mods can fix it, please do.

Enjoy the pics!

nope, didn't remove anything. wouldn't removing the collar damage the coils?

hk20000 07-12-2010 09:03 PM

Where are all those mad low TL-S, G35 and low low Accords, crazy fitment MX-5 Miatas when you need them?

ps. I'm not mentioning felixy69 n supman7 coz they were already on stance nation before. I know those cars have awesome stance.

OK I sent this post's URL to stance:nation now keep the pictures coming!

Ppl remove the lower locking collar all the time since the bottom mount is locked in place by two bolts anyway. Some people even remove one of the two collars holding the spring in place.

Back on topic now...

OMG Jonny! still takes the best pics >< HAHA! I got alot to learn from him :( wish i can do a shoot with him again!!!

anyways lots of nicely made cars, i hope we can have a meet :( i really want these on our site, like badly.. if you guys know of a way to contact them like forum pm, website? emails? shops? anything please let me know~
our site is still new, and I am not an amazing photog like dem guys at cani or other sites, but i do get the cars featured and justifiably represented.

Anyways, i do wish to get in contact with these sick rides somehow, and i do wish that a meet will be apparent in the near future...
Stance:Nation is based in Cali.. and we still arn't that well known like fatlace so doing a huge meet over to van for a meet might be difficult or even Seattle for that matter haha!

On the contrary if you make the coverage up here you'd have some exclusive features. It's how you market it yo. ;)

There are so many European exotics modified and dumped to the ground if you are into those too...but then in other aspects those seem to be always white......and are on vansky lol.

Expresso 07-13-2010 10:39 AM

I don't think its really big up in the Vancouver area really. Just look at a Revscene meet, pretty much a minority.

sittin sidewayz 07-13-2010 11:42 AM

Been on it since I discovered Japanese VIP cars back in 99'... Big body rides with maximum drop & fitament only V Dubs were used to running. It was only a matter of time before everyone wanted it...

Back in 2007 with 4 coils cut in the front & 2" rear drop springs. 17x8 +9/17x9 +9

Currently...

Its still not there but its my daily & these dirty east Van streets have beat the shit out of my 20 year old suspension.
