ill be there

Ulic Qel-Droma 07-16-2010 09:17 PM

fuck designer denim, it's just the same shitty ass jean you can buy at old navy but cut slightly different and branded differently and they charge you a few hundred bucks instead of 60.

get premium selvage denim. not designer denim.

hear-it-first 07-16-2010 09:40 PM

explain more about this premium selvage denim.. how can you tell and what kind for example?

skyxx 07-16-2010 10:40 PM

I feel like there's gonna be a lot of douchebags there, but that's just me.

sleazyho 07-17-2010 01:35 AM

So is this going to be all 'designer' jeans or will there be some shirts and belts/sunglasses, etc. since most those brands are the garbage denim brands

Gh0stRider 07-17-2010 11:18 AM

I think there will be shirts there

+10000

but its Vancouver, somehow the pattern sewn to the back of your ass is more important than the quality of denim.

rawr 07-22-2010 12:16 PM

i went today, came out empty-handed. what a joke!

just some TR billy T's with white stitching going for $269. They listed the original price as $430+.

The styles were pretty bland too. I'd rather go to Seattle to pick up a few.

sleazyho 07-22-2010 12:17 PM

^ were there anything else other than jeans?

rawr 07-22-2010 12:21 PM

there were some ed hardy T's, affliction, J Lindenburg, lacoste polos, a few TR shoes, TR shorts

none of them caught my eye, and they weren't really that much cheaper.

and I went at 11:30, had to line up for about 15 minutes to get in. I would assume it'd take even longer later today

sleazyho 07-22-2010 12:26 PM

I have to head down there anyways, so I might drop by and check it out then

rawr 07-22-2010 12:32 PM

^good luck, its a mess down there lol

insomniac 07-22-2010 12:54 PM

im only interested in the diesel stuff... the other shit.. nty.

rawr 07-22-2010 01:53 PM

i don't think i saw any diesel jeans. i only saw some diesel bags, toques, wallets, belts.

mowontech 07-22-2010 02:02 PM

I went there yesterday...
all gangster wear pretty much...
if you're lucky, you'll find JL or diesel jeans. I bought just nudies myself. but other than that there ain't much unless you like gangster wear

fatal 07-22-2010 03:08 PM

got a J.Lindeberg Dress shirt for $70

keifun 07-22-2010 05:08 PM

it was a mess there..

I saw theses two girls fold some jeans on a table...couple minutes later it was a huge messy pile again..hahaha

sleazyho 07-22-2010 05:25 PM

WTF that wasnt even a sample sale.. I've seen regular sales with lower prices.
And yeah it was a mess down there, crowded with all these 'gangsters' too, so easy to jack shit up there but the only things were jacking up are the Diesel wallets/toques... everything else are all the flashy gangsta shit.

ToveriII 07-22-2010 07:10 PM

friend went there and said it was totally shit

he got there at 4pm so the selection on sz 28-29 was shit

R&R 07-22-2010 07:29 PM

^=== ME
Selection for smaller sizes were gone FAST, so us fatties got a better variety :D

+1. Buy local. Get a pair of Naked and Famous and wear the shit out of it.

If thats the car then everyone would just buy fakes. While brand is important you can't argue a pair of $50 jeans is better than $200 ones.
Its like comparing a pair of levi's to True religions no comparison at all

Professir 07-22-2010 10:58 PM

lets not fail mqr03 anymore. this guy is defs a troll who enjoys being failed more than he would enjoy Jessica Alba's anus wrapped around his dick.
