Oh, i read somewhere that squids were riders who drove beyond their abilities and had big ego's.

coming from a rider = i hate getting passed on the highway / street just because as said before we hate getting passed ..getting passed usually means we get cut off because people think that they have a lot more room infront of us than they actually do ...its really bad for riders who have just started to ride too they are quite nervous

Simple....just flash the highbeam a few times to let them know to move over for you to pass and for the love of god, don't tailgate. Which btw is illegal and so is passing on the right. And don't complain about riders doing that, cause there sure is a hell of a lot of cars that does the EXACT SAME!! I swear ICBC, needs to address this to the general public more to let people know not to cruise in the left lane. I swear, almost everyone thinks they own the road.

And for any newbie riders, for the love of god, stay on the right lane if you plan on riding slow. One of the most important rules in school was not to hold up traffic and learn to blend in.

^^^^ Might be nice if they taught that in traffic school. But since they didn't enjoy the moms in the landrovers doing make up while talking on the phone in the fast lane. ;)

Squids also are bikers who can only go fast in a straight line, like a squid, and then have to slow down to a stop to make turn, and then they squeeze the throttle and take off in a straight line, like a squid. (in addition to not having any protective gear, and being dumb as a rock)

Heh, another thing i read was that paramedics called bikers squids because sometimes when they got into a accident with another car, without saftey gear, their intestines would come out and it would look like a squid when they arrived on scene.

i actually thought the term squid meant you don't wear any gear besides a helmet. because when you crash your head is in tact but the rest of your body get's GG'd and turns all limp - like that of a squid lol.
