e-break light stuck on? I have a 2000 prelude and the e-break light is stuck on even when the break is released. I've checked the break fluids, they're OK and my breaks don't feel any different when I step on them. I've checked my breaks with Fountain Tire about a month ago and they said the pads were at 70%... I'm wondering if it's electrical? Any ideas? |
There's a sensor under your e break cover that contacts metal when you have it pulled up. Maybe its stuck? Had the same problem on my DC2. Posted via RS Mobile |
It's either the master cyl cap shorted or something may have fallen into the hand brake lever area (like coins) and shorted the switch. Most likely its a short in the cap. Not uncommon on your prelude. Unplug the 2 wires connected to the master cylinder cap and see if it goes out. |
