Mouse disconnecting

So I have a razer deathadder mouse which is a highly competitive gaming mouse. the cord is loose so whenever i'm playing games I get the sound when a usb device is connecting/disconnecting. I know the cable is the problem and I tried gluing it with crazy glue. It helped and then got loose again.
I don't want to buy a new mouse and the warranty is over.
Anyone know if I can take this mouse apart before I rage smash it?

Your computer's USB connection is probably dirty. Try getting some water and pouring it directly into the USB port to clean it, and use some q-tips to wipe the area. Make sure the computer is on at the time of cleaning or it won't work.

glue?

pop the mouse apart, check the connections at that end of the cable. if possible, pop the plug end apart and check those connections, of get another USB cable and use it to replace the existing one.

If you don't feel like bothering, give it to me, I'll be in Van on Tuesday/Wednesday.
