What to do on a long plane ride?

What do you guys do on a long plane ride? I'll be flying to Japan in a few days and I don't know what else to do other than the usual magazine/movie/sleep. I don't know if I'll have a power plug for my laptop either.

I usually do the same thing everyone does. A combination of sleep, movie/tv on both the planes TV's and my laptop, music, magazines, and if I'm with sombeody card games etc.

I'm not the most experiences flyer on RS but I believe most if not all planes now have some sort of plug in for laptops. I could be wrong though.

pull an all nighter or dont sleep for 24 hours before you go on your plane

you'll probably be dead tired by the time the flight begins so u fall right asleep like a baby.

as for what to do on the plane?
iPod, laptop, ask for instant noodles etc

i watched band of brothers when i flew to japan last year and it kept me busy for a bit. try to rest up. also, i don't recommend drinking any kind of alcohol on the plane. i had a asahi on the plane and during and after the flight, i felt so dehydrated and shitty lol

^I don't understand how people can drink on a long flight. My friends and I had jaggerbombs on the plane (we each have a plastic container filled with redbull and jaggermeister) going from Bellingham to Vegas, and I felt sick before we even got off the plane :S

I find it hard to sleep on the plane so I stay up for 24 hours prior to my flight.

That and some sleeping pills ensure that I'm knocked out for quite a few hours. Then I just grab my laptop or listen to music for a few hours.

Can't wait for all flights to have Wi-Fi like Virgin America.
