Like crayon said, diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks; my girl has been gone since january, and we've sent a few emails, but only really talked once (I called her on her birthday; woke her up oops). She's got her life, I've got mine, but we're happIER together. I think that's one thing that's different between us and other couples. If we enjoy what the other is doing, we do it too. If not, we don't. Problem solved.

That having been said, if you can't keep yourself from doing crazy shit, how can you trust your girl to? How could you think about having kids or anything of the sort without cheating? Gotta think about your priorities man.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year, and more often than not we are in different cities. Even when I am down in Melbourne (I moved there and we live together) we sometimes go a few days without barely spending time together b/c he is an investment banker and works unreal hours. If you talk every day (we haven't missed one day since we met!) and prioritize your time together its not that bad. We also go on a LOT of vacations around together, in the next month we have 2 planned, and at least 4 more countries for the rest of the year - mmmm Fiji and Vanuatu here I come.

6 months really is nothing....you could always consider flying over to meet her for a week or so? I met my bf in Hawaii for a week and it was great!!
