Its is your responsibility to check your N/L sign, tire pressure and wear conditions, headlights, brake lights, turnsignals, reverse lights, etc before operating a vehicle.

In other words, the only way you would be able to get away with something like that is if some random person ran up to your car at a red light and stole your Driver sign. Ofcourse that's whether or not the cop/ judge decides to believe you.

From what i've heard, police get pay + half/ double pay (on court day) and a day strictly for court cases so don't count on him/her not showing up and winning your court case.

You can go ahead and dispute it if you want but every cop and judge has heard that same excuse. If i were you, I'd just pay the ticket.

Has anyone heard or know someone who went to court and gotten away with the no N ticket? Other than the cop not showing up. What was their excuse?

guys if you DIDNT display your N just pay the ticket and learn from it. What's the point of finding a way to cheat the system? It just makes you look stupid at the end of the day.

Just admit you made a mistake... man up to it and then move on.

This guy is exactly right, what you guys need to do is get the clear puch from ICBC and stick it on the rear window, no way anyone can ever steal it and its clearly visiable.

OP - Your N sign is not Clearly visable asuming thats how you have yours up.
