yes i have.
unfortunately the counter unit to infestor is actually not the counter unit!

fungal negates every protoss unit except 1.

the SLOW, LOW HP, EXPENSIVE, OUT RANGED FEEDBACK, high templar

fungal range > feedback range
borrow movement > 1.81 HT hover speed.



btw, roaches are pretty much free. and they do just as well as stalkers for 1/2 the cost.
so infest+roach combo.. wanna tell me how to fight it off?

High temps always kill my army when I have infestors.

I just grinded out a few games against a friend who plays toss, and eventually he figured out the unit composition to destroy my roach infestor army.

Hightemplars vs Broodlords is pretty useless though :P

What league are you in, Grim? You have problems with roach / infestors. I have problems with Protoss blobs. We should play! :)


Personally, I think the key is that Protoss has expensive but efficient units. If you keep them alive long enough, your blob will grow pretty quickly, especially with warp gates.

Zerg are good at making many units fast, but I find that it's hard keep them alive. If you keep on the pressure as Zerg, you lose the ability to build drones and it hurts your economy. Maybe that's another angle to work with?

Dude, what are you talking about Templar feedback have a range of 9, so does fungal growth, but in order to get everything in the middle of the circle its more like 8-8.5

At my level, protosses are doing pretty good. Usually get a couple of sentries to stall, tech to collosus which absolutely rape infestors if you target them, or they just go temps to fend off the infestors and go gateway units for a timing push


Also in regards to stalkers, do you ever get blink? blink is damn powerful when fighting against roaches

no my friend. range cast is 9, AAoE radius +2

7 gate blink push at 10min.. denied by spine crawler and mass ling.
infestor will come out RIGHT in time to clean up the job.

fast robo expo. zerg scout. zerg make spire. zerg lololol

FFE into blink stalker, into robo/col tech. mass infestor vs low col count = lolololololol

Are you a high masters protoss? Do you ever feign pressure? Somethings gotta give for zerg, if they produce that many units they shouldnt have that many drones. I don't quite understand how your playing, but everytime i play protoss they do pretty decently against me

the shields are ridicously strong 2.

yes i was 1600 masters
BTW, zergs have figured out how to deal with the 7gate blink push.
all u need are shit crap tons of spines.. 6-8 spines with some sort of micro with lings to bait FF or surrounds will end the blink push..
by end, i do not mean destroy the army of the stalkers..
it will push the toss back, enabling you to get your third cz the infestor will come right after (or during the fight at the (9:45) mark)

make roaches. they are literally free and archon's splash does not affect them too much cz they are pretty bulky and fat

bcz if a toss goes heavy on archon, they will only have chargelots.
and roaches eat chargelot. If u ever encounter zarchon combo, just press "4" "s" "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"

still doesnt work.
archons stalker zealot combo is pretty deadly.

depending on how many base toss.
2 base, u wont have enough for stalkers.
3 base, its usually med stalker count + archon n very few zlot

if all u have are roaches *lets pretend* and u still lose.. it means u dont have enough.
if u have roaches and infestor, i cant see how you are able to get annihilated.

and when u do go for roach play, i hope you are using the dbl evo for fast +2


and like Psi storm, dont be greedy and go for the money shot. just send your infestors to fungal, back n forth.. by the time he is near your "turf" if the toss still wanna engage.. burrow your infestor, A-move the roach.
if he backs off, then just tech to hive and dry your zerg tears, cz you've probably won.
