bmw m3 vs mercedes e 350/550 coupe

Which one should i go for? im looking more for an evryday car but something that can be fun as well

... What kind of driving are you looking at?

That's not a lot of information for us to be providing you help with.

Are you driving for work? Do you drive a long distance to get to and from work? Is it a weekend car? Do you have a family? Are you looking for fuel economy? Are you looking for performance? Are you worried about pricing?

Etc...

Based on the two choices I'd personally choose the E550 Coupe though. I'm more biased towards Mercedes Benz... especially since I live in Richmond, where every 3rd car is a honger with a big fat N sign on the back driving an M3

Qmx323 07-28-2010 03:42 PM

depending on year,

generally i'd say M3 for raw performance and E class for comfort.

the thing is M3 is also comfy and the E 550 is pretty powerful as well (although not as powerful as the M3)

ur call dude

OP, you should just test drive both, see which one you like better. See if you can negotiate any deals as both are priced similarly (E550 costs considerably more though).

I failed you because I think you should be smart enough to compare both cars yourself (that's if you're really considering buying one) instead of trolling on RS

M3 will probably be worth more in the end, besides it's more comfortable in the rear I find, E class coupe headroom is dangerous if you're about 5'9, and bmw reliability > mercedes

If your parents have enough money to buy you an $80,000 car, the least your lazy ass could do for them in return is go to the dealership and drive the stupid things to see which one YOU like instead of letting an internet forum decide where they spend it.
