Craigslist Okay this has been happening to me for the longest time, and I'm wondering if it happens to anyone else. If not, good way to collect a bunch of fails. ;) Everytime I'm on Craigslist, it sets the location to Seattle. No matter how many times I set it to Vancouver, it just reverts. Every. Time. Thought it might've been my computer but it seems to happen to me wherever I go! |
not just you. It saves any US city last visited once you've tried a US city. If you've only surfed on Canadian cities, then you're good! I regret checking out cars in the states! You'd think a cookie bug like this would be fixed by now! |
i always put craigslist.ca vs craigslist.com.. Usually hits up Vancouver for me.. |
^same, it sets mine on sf bay, i remember i clicked on sf bay just for the hell of it to see what kinda cars they have and ever since my clicking to sf bay area my craigslist is like set to sf bay now no matter how many times i try clicking vancouver... almost makes me mad cuz sometimes i dont pay attention and go to autoparts and find something sweeeeeet for dirt cheap price (u.s curreny) and than im like k gonna call him right now! than see the number.. shit! and than see the location.. double shit! |
Could be a problem with your USB/Serial Port drivers. Try to download some Linksys Logitech hardwares, and set the module to Voodoo3 speed. After that, press Alt+154 on the numpad. This makes a smiley face like this: Ü Smiley faces means you're happy, and happiness means more production and speed and turbo. In conclusion, baking soda does not remove BMW cheese. |
save http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/ as a favorite? |
i get San Fransisco occasionally |
LOL one of my work computers keeps going to moscow, russia. grinds my gears. |
craigslist.ca always takes me to toronto |
I check both the Seattle and Vancouver CL's, and I do the .ca/.org thing for both. Each is saved depending on which one I look at. |
I always get los angeles, and often, Vancouver isn't listed under the Canadian cities, so I must click on a different one first to get to van second :( |
maybe delete your whole history? |

dude just type vancouver.craigslist.org once, then everytime u type van, the link will come up, press enter and voila. |
K while I'm at it, new rant: What is it with Craigslist and people saying things like "OK i'm buying this for sure, hold this for me, I'll be there this afternoon!!!" [few hours later] "Nevermind I got something else. You can stop holding it for me now." (or worse yet, they just simply don't show. ever.) -or- They show up, and then they hit you "can you take 50 bucks off?" I'll never complain about RS buy/sell again. |
when i do craigslist.ca, it sends me to the toronto craigslist |

Sounds kind of douchey but it weeds out a good number of flakers. ...and +2, I just added http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/ to my favourites and it works fine. |

I get chicago lol. |
I always say first come first serve and I say price is always firm. If you are even short a dollar I'm not selling it. And anyone who asks a question not in this add will be ignored. Posted via RS Mobile |
