Looking to see if anyone is interested in taking over my raincheck for the boat rental I had this weekend in Summerland, BC (by Penticton, just south of Kelowna).
We got out on the water at 4:00pm on Sunday August 1st, and was back on the docks at 4:15 due to rain, thunder and lightning. And since I was leaving early Monday morning, I was not able to use the raincheck while I was out there.
The company policy is they do not do refunds at all (well they say they can't due to their system which I think is complete BS) so I received a raincheck for a 2 hour speed boat rental that includes your choice of a wakeboard, tube, or both.
This rental is good at SWR Boat Rentals which is part of (and owned by) Summerland Waterfront Resorts and Spa in Summerland BC. And this raincheck has no expiry date either.
But to be safe, its probably best to go use this ASAP and seeing its still the beginning of August, there's still a good 2 months to use it this season.
So again, this raincheck is good for a 2 hour rental of the Malibu speed boat (18ft open bow, 115 hp outboard engine and sits 7 passengers), and your choice of either/both towables (wakeboard and/or tube). Gas is not included so you have to pay to fill up the gas just before bringing it back to the docks.

Paid $225 for this rental including prop insurance.
