Refrigerator boxes? Have you tried going to like, best buy or future shop and seeing if they have something?

An idea would be heading to IKEA, where they have those "return item" section where most boxes are scraped away...you can ask how much to grab one or two old boxes and tape them together into one big box (depending how big our bumper is).

Friend of mine went there and it worked. Ikea workers were nice enough to charge him few dollars for 2 boxes.

Not sure it'll work but worth a try.

Good luck!

if all else fails, bubble wrap the hell out of it.
I'm not kidding. I bought a Mazdaspeed bumper and grille from FL and the guy couldn't find a suitable box for them. He took so long I thought he was scamming me so I put a little pressure on him to send it out ASAP or I'll start reporting him. In the end, I got my tracking number (USPS) and when it arrive, voila a bubble wrap bumper hiding a grille.

I had to dig a little, but here's photo i took when i got it back home from PR

Not trying to be an asshole or to shit on your thread but for bigger items, always try to sell locally first before selling/shipping out of town.

i agree with bcrdukes,
the cost of shipping will likely be very high since its such an odd shape.
The box you find to fit it will be even bigger making up much of the cost.
I was surprised my bumper came in one piece when i saw it wrapped up

Personally, I would only ship bigger items if and when the buyer is willing to pay the extra costs to cover the shipping and handling.

On the flip side, this varies amongst different people but for myself (and perhaps the older crowd on RS) I value my time and the amount of time and effort it takes to find the materials, then to get the item packaged properly, ensuring it is shipped safely is a big time consumer, otherwise, they complain and file a report to Payal and you're screwed.

That is a pretty good idea to just bubble wrap the heck out if it with lots of layers.

It is a royal pain shipping a bumper. Way back in they day I shipped a full body kit and made the most ghetto box ever. I was working at a grocery store and grabbed three big boxes that cereal and paper towel come in to the store. I put the bumper through all three boxes and then used more cardboard wrapped around the gaps and ends. Plenty of padding inside too. UPS barely took it lol

Bubble wrap till it looks like a cellulite laden whale and then wrap it up with cardboard and packing tape.

Might want to check out puralator and Canada post rates, they're usually all within a couple of dollars but check it out.
