Review The Picture Above, Post A New One Based on the "game"-style threads in the General forum, I thought it would be cool to have a thread where each poster reviews the photo in the post above theirs. So, here's what I'm thinking: - Give at least one positive comment and at least one piece of constructive criticism of the photo in the post above. - Post *one* photo of your own for review by the next poster. (Photos should be taken by you..) - You can post in the thread as often as you want but please post a new pic each time. I'll post a pic below, and the next person to respond to the thread should give a brief review then post their own pic, and we'll go onwards from there. http://borlandstudios.com/pics/circle-route/road3.jpg :worthless: |
I'll play! I'd like to see the car as the subject of the photo personally. Maybe could have used a better lite location. Cool idea, but i think it could have been executed differently. Keep on shooting! The Red Door http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4096/...5676d4f6_b.jpg |
Oh exciting, I think that black line on top of the photo is a little bit distracting none the less awesome shot Boostslut. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._4518853_n.jpg |
^ somehow it provokes a lot of emotion.. personally though, I would maybe turn down the reds a bit. Great pic! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4076/...098b8093_b.jpg |

Your photo has a very crooked horizon. Next time when shooting with a tripod, try to make sure everything is straight, and take the extra time to look through the viewfinder to make sure there are no other "issues". I like how you didn't over expose the night shot. The exposure between the city and science world has some balance. Going to use a more dated photo from Feb 2009 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3382/...f7daa6e0_z.jpg |

^ I like the two people there, but I think the photo is slightly underexposed a tad. Here's mine. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_RlBlRdp4hCE/TF...0/DSC_6474.JPG |
^I love the colors, personally I think the fence kinda distracting. Quote:

Picture was taken in Vietnam, Hanoi. http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/1...ankiemlake.jpg |
I like the unique look of the photo, it's very sharp and eye-catching. However, I think the high contrast detracts from the photo and makes it hard to make out detail in the buildings. Here is mine http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/Inaii/lily.jpg |
^I can't see your photo. |
flickr doesn't work with img tags for some reason, had to upload to photobucket, sorry! |

Went to the Vancouver Canadians baseball game on Thursday night. This is with a Canon 5DmkII + 24mm f3.5 TS-E II. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...I/IMG_9296.jpg |
^ Likes: Looks great! I love how you played wit the focus, and the look of the spotlights is very cool. Dislike: The shadow on the left doesn't seem to add anything to the photo, and I might have preferred the player to be a bit more dominant in the photo, but thats just my 2 cents! Here's mine http://lh4.ggpht.com/_RlBlRdp4hCE/TF...0/DSC_0576.JPG |
great capture, really sharp image. if theres more contrasts in the picture i would like it even more. maybe casue of colour, it seemed the objects isnt stand out from the background. but yeah, its from a guy like me that edits most of the photos to get what i really want. nonetheless, great shot right out of the camera. heres mine, im more into street snaps so ive got nothing really technical. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3420119_n.jpg |
^ I like the tone of the picture. But I would prefer a lower perspective http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3359/...a78463c0_z.jpg |
^ Dig the reflections and the sky, but horizon crooked is distracting. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_RlBlRdp4hCE/TF...2/DSC_3845.JPG |
^ where is that, looks like a cool cave to visit, is there a larger one you could post up? http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3439323_n.jpg |
^^ I think it would've been better if you had the subject more in focus, and not a fan of the watermark as it is too large and distracting to the overall photo.. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4077/...f7372d22_b.jpg |
I like it, especially the colors. I think it's a little too zoomed in though http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4096/...cc530484_b.jpg |
