he did pay is hydro bill. It said the transformer blew up a few times due to the huge electrical load, but amount of load accounted for should be able to work fine.. so they knew someone was stealing huge power in that area.

underscore 08-08-2010 12:27 AM

goes to show there really aren't any truly smart grow ops. that cave is very well made though (hydraulic doors?!?!?!)

daica-viet 08-08-2010 10:06 AM

that some sick master plan mostly the escape doors

greendb7 08-08-2010 10:12 AM

For some reason this makes me think this is Batman's grow op

I have friends in the RCMP and they admit this is the only way they find some of the elaborate setups.

pretty dumb for running that off hydro...

yellowpower 08-08-2010 11:56 AM

Why didnt he just buy a generator?

that still wouldnt do it, the article said that the bill was rackin too much for all the houses to use..

he should have used power generators and BOT stealing power, in a cave like that, noise wouldnt be the issue..

underscore 08-08-2010 12:55 PM

^ they could also buy all the houses in an area, and make them look semi-lived in, but have all the power re-routed to the grow op. then run generators for the rest. Then if they really want, run escape tunnels to a couple of the other properties.

murd0c 08-08-2010 01:01 PM

a operation like that you would run it off of propane. that's the only way to do it without getting caught

Walperstyle 08-08-2010 01:06 PM

Farmers need to not be greedy. Do one or two huge grows, then shut it down. If you grow that much you can pay for your house.

...well, over a period of small payments to not alert the tax man.

I need to get into crime

Death2Theft 08-08-2010 10:36 PM

Why not a gas diesel generator? Propane powered gerenators easier to run?

thats some movie shit right there bro.. pretty cool

donjalapeno 08-09-2010 01:16 AM

VTACK powered generators would be the best bet.
