1987 Toyota Cressida up for sale. Automatic, 248,xxx km, dark red in colour. Has an older model Kenwood deck that my uncle gave me, but I can remove if you have your own deck.
The Good:
-Relatively clean body, no major dents but a couple of scratches that were there when I bought it. Interior has only one major tear on the center console.
-Stock 5M still runs very strong, supposedly swapped in a couple years ago by previous owner (bcrdukes) and I have been DD'ing the car.
-Chrome trim on wheel arches and rocker panels removed as they attract rust, car looks better with it off anyways.
-Car is rolling on gunmetal 15x8 Sportmax 002's with 195/50/15 tires with roughly 15-20% tread left (rims bought used not too long ago). Also includes a 5th rim with no tire that's pretty rashy. I will reduce the price if you don't want 'em, however I would need help taking them off as I have little room for a jack at my house.
-Valve cover gaskets just replaced.
The Bad:
-Some rust bubbling on the rear right wheel arch.
-Diff is a bit noisy, but does not affect drivability (has survived 3 trips to the states so far).
-Black door trim is loose, but can be easily taken off (some do it anyways).
- Front left speaker is busted, but the sound system still works.
Price:
$850 obo with everything (including stock rims),
$500 firm without the sportmaxes.
Contact: PM me, and we'll work from there.
Overall, the car would make a solid DD or is asking for a 5-speed swap if you have the parts and know-how. Hell, if you're shopping for a winter beater now, here's your chance. Thanks for looking.
pics (one month before the sportmaxes, will put up pics with them on if you want).:
