*HELP* Blackberry Vs Iphone Hey guys im just wondering if you guys can help me choose which one to go with...... A) Iphone 3gs B) Iphone 4 C) Blackberry 9700 with Itouch I have a really hard decision right now, i love the iphones for their apps and stuff but i had a bb9000 and loved using the keyboard, im planning on getting the 9700 wit a itouch to have the apple games and blackberry world together but will it be just better to have an iphone?? thanks guys. |
right now with the 6gb data plan that Telus and Rogers has for $30 go with the iphone. That's my plan right now and I have a berry. |
i would go with the iPhone, i've had a blackberry for over 5 years and I have no more real use for it. The iPhone has much more to offer the average user than the blackberry. Go with the iPhone 4. Unless you are a business person. |

Depends what you use it for if emails, business, keeping in touch with people etc go Blackberry if for fun and entertainment, iphone saying this, I fucking hate iphones and think they're nothing more than toys with a phone function, everybody is always saying "oh but look at all the apps that are out for the iphone" look at all the USELESS apps for the iphone! but if I was to tell you what to get without knowing what you're using it for, I'd say blackberry |

Definitely get the 6gb option as well. Dont even consider the 3gs imo, thats already extremely dated (i know its only technically just over a year, but apple was already behind the curve). Ever considered android? Great phones coming out there namely the Galaxy, Desire, and i guess the X10. |
GET AN ANDROID DEVICE ok fine..i will join in the conversation Blackberry, great for communication and email, and this isnt getting into the whole business side of things. Unless of course, heavy texters/email heavy users need a physical key. At the same time, FUNCTIONAL APPS such as poynt is available on the berry as well. So its like..great for those that want a device that will in my terms "Get the job done" The iPhone in my mind will always lack the actual communication aspect simply because of the lack of apps for that or even just the delivery of certain things for that. Apps will always be the main focus of the iphone, it is true it does JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING one needs it for. Its more or less, the true smartphone for those needing the right balance of work and play, very "consumer" oriented Look into android tho, its the right balance between work/play and well, the future looks very bright for Google and Android as the actualy android system will be implemented to certain aspects in life very soon |
Android FTW |
Blackberry 9700 with Touch for sure. - easier to type with the berry - touch can do most things an iphone can do After awhile you'll get bored of your iPhone so stick with the berry and the touch |

I;ve played with and used the torch for one day, and i got rid of it and went back to a 9700..and now 9780 is coming BBOS6 is great, I WILL NOT DENY THAT. sadly, the torch hardware itself needs to catch up to the times. Its sluggish for BB6 on torch. maybe future fixes of the OS will allow it to operate well on the OUT OF DATE hardware on the torch..just maybe. anyways, It integrates both the touchscreen and QWERTY well, just that it needs to keep up. This blackberry will sell cuz of the new form factor, but until RIM fixes it and finds an identity, the berry will always be ONE DIMENSIONAL |
I will never get the Torch, it seems like a horrible idea, blackberry all the way. why? simple BBM!!! and for some reasons, I just hate Iphones |

I believe he said the touch, as in bb and an apple Itouch. Good thread cause I've been trying myself to decide between the torch, bb 9700 or the iphone 4 |
Why not get the Iphone try it out and if you don't like it sell it and get the torch which you might even make a couple bucks with. |

because my gf's cousin from the States came up with the phone and she fell in love with it and wanted me to buy it for her when she has a working Bold I'm a loyal Blackberry guy and was like "ahhh no..." another excuse so I don't have to buy it; it isn't sold here! |
Evo does not work up here. Or else I would be all over it as well Posted via RS Mobile |

Like many, I'm needing a phone upgrade and I've heard the debate between BB vs. iPhone vs. Android. I'm leaning towards an Andriod... |
EVO runs on Sprint, and sprint uses a network which does not exist in Canada |
lets hope they make a GSM version of the EVO sometime |

he will approve |
If i were to break it down to a very very basic level. Blackberry has great keyboards and BBm.... Android has everything else. Iphone has pretty much nothing, but it's purdy. |
New Desire HD (ace) should be the gsm equivalent to the evo 4g. |

Honestly I think there's just way to many biases reviews out there the phone needs to really he released in Canada so we can all get a solid review. Look what this guy was saying, I doubt the torch screen looks better than the iPhone 4 http://forums.crackberry.com/f209/my...ne-4-a-511833/ Posted via RS Mobile |
