Is it as simple as just showing up? Do I need to phone somebody and register ahead of time? I've read a lot on AutoXing in general, but is there anything I should know specifically for Western Speedway? By the way. If you see me with my rusty (but mechanically sound) Volvo, please introduce yourself, as I'll have no friends to tell me what's going on.
If you're just planning on doing one of the VMSC events you just show up during the tech time (earlier is better than later) and bring along a Snell approved helmet (I believe they may require snell 2005 now? (motorcycle ones are acceptable)
Take anything you have out of the back of your car thats not bolted down, and as long as you're mechanically sound you should be good to go. Try to bring exact change too, everyone seems to pay with 20's and they can run out of small bills pretty quick, and good luck!
