Did a search and nothing showed up. This happened on Tuesday.

Jackie Evancho is a 10 year old opera singer and her performance was phenomenal!
I thought I would share it with those of you who don't follow this show.

Now, before you pass judgment (or post pedobear pictures), think about your skill set as a 10 year old.
This is live and lip syncing is not allowed by any contestant.

when she speaks she sounds normal but sounds creepy when she sings...

the voice is just weird on a little girl

I was raised listening to a lot of classical opera - my mom was an opera singer.

For her age, she's definately awesome. Obviously her tone and control needs a lot of improvement but that will mature with age and training. I hope she continues on in her training - we need more/better classical singers, both male and female. It almost seems like a dying art.

i wonder how far she will go in this competition. the above performance was her first on the AGT stage so she hasn't had time to "grow with the competition".
