Frozen Yogurt Places Just wanted to hear your guys thoughts on places like Qoola and TuttiMelon, etc. Some advertise probiotics, but is it actually a 'healthy' dessert? |
I prefer tuttimelon over Qoola. A tad cheaper, and their flavours just have well.... more "flavour" I guess. The Last time I went I got hooked onto the "Green Tea" flavour they had. I believe they also do asian desserts now too, but I have yet to try those out Don't get me wrong though, Qoola is great too - a bit thicker, not as thick as ice cream, but definitely thicker than tuttimelon |
Scoop! on 4th and Arbutus, across the street from Hell's Kitchen. |
Scoop is pretty good, good value if you use the entertainment coupon! (Thats how you discovered it Senna, didn't you ;) |
I was just at Qoola last night. Not a fan. I prefer yogen fruz. |
I think Qoola is expensive.. but thats just me |
Can somebody explain the appeal of froyo to me? As much a foodie as I am, I never really understood why... Always just kind of ruled it out as "fake icecream" for people that don't have good metabolisms  |
Decent product but grossly overpriced, especially with the awful and cheap frozen fruit they use as toppings. |
I prefer a tub of plain yogurt and a spoon. But a really good froyo place is Timothys at steveston village. Really good. Posted via RS Mobile |
anyone tried golden spoon yet at coq centre? believe they will open one in richmond at a strip mall on blundell somewhere |
I think RPM peanut bubble tea sell yogurt still... I remember i brought it from them few years ago. I don't know if they still sell it. but its pretty good. |
+1 for timothy's, the cone is the best part tho! my gf has been looking for a froyo place like PinkBerry in LA, there you choose the size and flavor, then you get unlimited choices on toppings at no extra cost. not like these 50cent per topping places |
Another one here voting for scoop! friendly service, fooseball table !!! =) |
just tried scoop last night used the entertainment coupon for 50% off, had the chocolate hazlenut blended yogurt thing, it was good, prolly just go with plain next time and add sauces, and yeah the fooseball table was fun was fun, gf found it fun too. |
NEVER go the the one next to Jia Mob Ji on Robson. The one in cineplex theatres is good..forgot the name though...like their twist |

Yes, Blueberrry has closed down. I didn't think they'd last long...they opened last year in the dead of winter, and I never saw people in there. |

it was either dunbar or arbutus, i can not remember. |
I enjoy Tuttimelon. They are pretty generous with the toppings they give you +1 vote for Tuttimelon. |
Qoola ftw! I like the Metrotown location where they price by weight. |
Yeah Qoola is pretty win! |
