is it trading in ITR worthy...?? ;)

Onassis 08-14-2010 09:02 PM

I got to test drive one in Japan, it feels quicker than it drives - almost exactly like my old stock CRX.

I'm gonna hold out for one until hasport drops the k20 mounts or until the HKS supercharger comes.

^^^
man that black one looks nice...

It's definitely a comfortable car, i sat on the white one that was at Richmond Honda. They had 2 on the day of delivery, and supposedly 2 in warehouse. Both sold around afternoon ish, and shortly after the other 2 in the warehouse were called for aswell. Not sure how the JDM version was able to fit 2 seats in the back...there was no room at all!

spoon.ek9 08-14-2010 10:24 PM

hmmm black seems the be the best colour choice. even though i love white the most for almost every car :lol

dano02veloz 08-15-2010 01:59 AM

Looks kinda cool... but is it RWD?? LOL, I'm gonna assume it isn't - which makes it... a fancy looking, but much less practical Fit Hatch?

Gachinto 08-15-2010 02:30 AM

can't be a rwd ... i think

spoon.ek9 08-15-2010 08:58 AM

maybe i'll stop by richmond honda today and take a look!

average asian male or females are pretty short...

i think avg height for a male is probably around 170-175cm or so.... ?

and japanese... they are just short in general.. haha (no offense)

donjalapeno 08-15-2010 11:59 AM

that last silver one looks sick

twitchyzero 08-15-2010 12:13 PM

i dont think i can ever get used to that rear-end

svelt 08-15-2010 12:37 PM

It's the only exciting product in Honda's entire stable (including Acura) for the long forseeable future.

But S2k replacement it is not. Not sure if it even is a CRX replacement, a stock 1.5L CRX could probably outrun this boat.

it can be a 2+2.
We just had 2 of our managers sit in the back...LOL
You might be able to fit a kid or small asian girl back there if you had to.
I just realized the car doesn't have any holy sh!t bars...

How hard is it to convert it to JDM spec for the rear seats? (2 Seats + back cushions + Seat belts). Can you just order the JDM p/n and bolt it on?

CP.AR 08-15-2010 03:04 PM

who wants to buy my gas guzzling TL

Jgresch 08-15-2010 03:13 PM

+1

It it's just a bolt on process, then this car is a strong consideration!

At least it won't be a death trap like the old crx 2+2 :p

Call me a Luddite, but I doubt this comes even remotely close to the old CRX in terms of driveability, handling, and overall fun. The CRX sold like hotcakes because it was raw, cheap on gas, and light.
