Lomac 08-17-2010 08:16 PM

Great video. The last part I kept having flashbacks to James May doing the speed test. This video used virtually the same wording for many parts of it. :lol But either way, great video.

$100 for a ti bolt, have a handfull of those, and it quickly adds up.

Remember, they sell these Veyrons as a loss.. total value of car to produce is around 4million British pounds.

So you'll never ever see a car like this again in your lifetime, due to its economic feasibility. With today's economic climate and environmental issues, its goodbye to cars like this.

I am sure we will see a car BETTER like this in our lifetime...unless you're not planning on living very long.

Absolutely beautiful piece of art from an engineering point. I have to admit, at first i did not like the body shape/style of the Veyron but it is all necessary to achieve the extreme speeds and braking factors, but it is growing on me.
Just the engine making 3000hp but 2/3 is heat makes me see how todays engines are not very efficient. I can see how the Veyron R&D will influence future engine designs and body shapes.

They said its double clutch gearbox is the first of its kind. But i thought porsche made one back in the 80s.
