Anyway, free on second day is awesome. a lot of vendors are not fully ready on day one.



Things not to buy at PNE. That hose sprayer thing. It's less than half the PNE price on Amazon. Product is good, just not the price.

I think moving from Hastngs Park would have killed the PNE.

On a side note, I hope the roller coaster stays forever at Hastings Park. Wooden ones like that are nearly extinct.

Is street parking on Hastings still free if you get there early enough? If so, what is the time limit? I'm assuming it is something like 2 hours.

Hastings is packed! Just drove by going home...cars on Hastings are parked as far up as Hastings and Boundary and into Burnaby.

LOL yea I just went outside to have a smoke and there's mad cars every where. Even Burnaby has finally put up Temp No Parking Signs in the areas just past Boundary.

I was shocked when I saw the no parking signs on the first two blocks of Oxford Street after Boundary...That's like a 25 minute walk..lol

Fo sho but for many walking 25 mins vs paying $30 for parking is way better. Plus going to PNE/Playland involves a full day of walking anyways, whats another 25mins. Personally I rather pay haha fuck I'm lazy.

Yeah, I also noticed there was tons of traffic on the Hwy 1 at the McGill exit around 1pm. I was wondering what was going on - I'm guessing it's the PNE.

People are charging $20 to park on their street or driveway...

I thought they had made it illegal.?? Beats paying $30.

There are about 15 houses that can legally sell spots. As for the rest yes it is illegal.

It is illegal, and they have cars patrolling the area (saw 2 within 3 minutes and they approached a lady selling a spot)
