Can somebody answer my question?

Is parking along Hastings still free and if so, for what time limit?

its free, but i can't remember for how long. I just parked on the other side of the park or near the elementary school if there are spots.

Gh0stRider 08-21-2010 05:52 PM

it wasn't busy during the concert, but once it let out, it was packed!

The_Situation 08-21-2010 10:09 PM

If you come to the twin flip ride I can get you in for free .
P.S. there are 5 black people working at that ride, I am not one of them.

Yeah It was my first time going to this event out here , Wow parking was a pain, There were so many ppl selling spots at there house, we ask a few ppl and they were saying $40 for a spot even one older chinese lady said $50, I was shocked, but found a school close by that charged $25.

The_Situation 08-21-2010 10:12 PM

The School was selling spots for 25$? Principal chilling in the parking lot? lol

TheStreetDream 08-21-2010 10:39 PM

Holy fuck 25$ for parking? When I used to live near PNE, last year I just sold my parking spot for 10$, enough for a pack of smokes.. Wow, shit changed eh?

When I used to live near the PNE and sold parking like 15 years ago I was charging $20 per car ...

Inaii 08-21-2010 11:22 PM

This is why you take transit there :p MUCH cheaper. I'm not sure I want to go... I usually work as a foreman during the summer, but I just started a new job and I don't get my vacation until October so I couldn't take the 2 weeks off... is it worth it to go? Or is it the same old stuff?

Liquid_o2 08-21-2010 11:43 PM

I have two friends that live a block from the PNE, so free parking WOOT!

One is an RS member, so if you read this, thanks for the parking today

Bryan Adams concert was awesome, he put on a really good show, and Beach Boys were pretty good too. Watched Kevin Costner's band as well, he surprised me, the guy can sing and his band has skills.

Damn, the hell are ppl charging so much for parking. I rather park far away and walk it to save money. Paying for parking is dumb.

Gh0stRider 08-22-2010 07:25 AM

If it's anything like last year, yes. The line moves fast. Don't worry about not being able to get in. I suspect people line up early so they can get to the $3 charity pancake breakfast, get tickets to the shows, etc.

TOS'd 08-22-2010 08:35 AM

^ oh thats nice to know, i feel kinda tired from the other day and dont want to go so early lol.

LiquidTurbo 08-22-2010 10:39 AM
