the thing i hate about mercedes is that they never have there own " thing" audi has the leds, bmw has the angel lights. mercedes just copies everyone.

Incorporating design cues like LED lights is to stay current and competitive. Do you think MB is going to go off on a tangent just to stay original in the eyes of fringe folks like you? Absolutely not.
I don't see Audi crying about other manufacturers using LED's in their cars, or BMW complaining about MB "biting" off them. It's just people like you who make a big deal about nothing. A mountain from a molehill.

I like it, but I think it will only look good in dark colors eg: black, dark grey, dark blue.

that rear shot = mazda 6 + maxima
This front end is similar to the one for the next R class, much more promising on that as this car has much larger styling shoes to fill

The question is.. what makes the new CLS different from an E or S then other than looks?
The one thing I've never understood about MB is they make so many lines of vehicles, they've got to be cannibalizing themselves.
The brake light is freaking weird. I'm actually a huge fan of BMW's idea to put it at the top of the rear window. Way more visible.
