it could be because soiled entertainment is Falling the fuck off,their okay with the special event's like new year's and Halloween but they have the Shitest local dj's and the Stunt's they always pull on people cutting off an hour or hour's for each event they do,ending it early.

and i hate how they mix hardstyle dj's with trance dj's....set your fucking mind straight...have a trance only event for grown people like me who enjoy a good tune & have hardstyle for the E tard's & teenage punk's who enjoy repetitive bass line's,

I had some friends from edmonton coming down for tdf, they bought tix in advance,and took off time from work, only to find out its been moved to gossip. What a fail on solids part, selling tickets in batches, and making the first batches pick up at the door. I like both trance and hardstyle, its down to what type of music you like, not about hardtyle is worst then trance. There are just as many large scale hardstyle events out there as there are trance, for example qlimax, defqon, qdance, etc.

when your warming up for the main room headliners, you can't play "the latest trance". i mean hell if you do that, what are the headliners going to play. they have to play older tunes/not so well known tunes to please the crowd as well as please the headliners that are playing the event. music selection by local dj's is fine in my mind as long as the crowd is pleased.

i can't blame solid for putting in hardstyle acts either since its what half the crowd wants. they are trying to make everyone in vancouver happy by doing it. your going to step on some toes if you either take out trance acts or hardstyle acts. i think they found the perfect balance seeing as they throw on the hardstyle at the end of the shows so the trance aficionados get what they want and can leave or goto the other rooms.
