Phillipenes tourists from hk on hong thai held hostage, 7 died

so apparently 7 died, and there was a dad trying to rescue his family, he got shot with an m16 automatic rifle, the mom had thought of retaliating, but thinking of her children she pretended to be dead. In the end she was shot too. this part really reminded me of the last scene from mummys return. this is really sad, and makes me think twice about visiting third-world countries as a tourist.
