92 Civic 5 speed conversion

Can anyone who's done this type of thing before have any idea roughly how much it would cost? From full service at a shop (they buy all parts etc) to me buying parts and them installing to me buying all parts and doing it myself.

How hard is it to do by yourself? Maybe my dad would know how to he's alright with cars, but not sure if its really hard.
By the way I'm going automatic -> manual.

Also any shops that are good at doing this in your experience? (Cost, quality)

Thanks!

most people will just say sell the auto and buy a manual
too much of a hassle to convert unless you want to

i called up garage five before and it was rougly 750 if you have a donor car (to take parts from), but if you don't have a donor car they said they'd charge around 1200 or 1300.

it's a big job, i say do it only if you're really committed to your car
