Fail me or whatever, but why does the GTR show up in all comparisons? To me, the Turbo S, LFA, SLS AMG are in a totally different price league than the GTR...

Which I don't think is right. As far as I know, all new GTRs still come with LC2 (i.e. the second generation of launch control that revs to around 3000 RPM). I think if they had used that, the race with the Turbo S would have been at least respectable, although the Turbo S would undoubtedly have won again.
