What does puting a player on IR do?

It allows you to keep that player while picking up another player to replace him without having to drop the injured player.

how do u put someone on IR?

You can only move players that have their status updated to IR, just select that players roster position as IR. You might need to change your roster edit type from drag and drop to classic to bring up the IR roster spot.

I wonder if Yahoo will come out with their own fantasy hockey app soon... they already have one for baseball and football.

In Yahoo Fantasy leagues can you add a free agent that is currently on IR?
Andrei Markov is almost ready to play and is a free agent but is still listed as IR..

I thought I had the worst team, didn't know there were 2 others that are 1-11-1 >.>

Damn you started off pretty well. Wait till my big boys play.

You have to have an empty roster spot. Add him to your team, place him on IR, then it will say you have 1 empty roster spot. Fill it with an active player. When the IR guy comes back and you want to start him, you have to drop a player from your lineup.

I think you have to drop a player before you can add him, then put him on IR before picking up another player.

Have you seen Thomas's stats?! 2-0, 0.50GAA and a .984 SV%. And those aren't even including tonight's game vs Washington. Good thing I picked him up along with Brent Johnson in RS1!

I have him in one of my other pools.
