Free Steatlh Guards For Most Phones I searched for this topic and I found a hit ... buried within pages and pages of the iPhone 4 thread ... thought it deserved it's own thread for all those people who like free shit! Anyways head on over to http://www.stealthguards.com and get your free full body protector(s)! You only pay shipping. So it's not entirely free but it's damn well close enough! I ordered a few sets. Not sure how good they are though. Post your feedback! Note: Guards are free for a limited time. As of the 26th of August @ 7:39PM it is still free. |
People on RFD say it's not that good, it has an orange peel like finish, attracts fingerprints, and easily scratched. |
well is free, i would use it as a backup screen protector. i had a zagg, and it got damaged, so i got this as a temp before my replacement comes |
zagg and stealth both have orange peel, finger prints but not easily scratched. stealth has poor fitment. the shield does not extend all the way to the edge. zagg does. |
zagg only has orange peel if you suck at installing it |
How long is shipping from Stealth Guards? |
I ordered mine a week ago for the iTouch and IP4, will update when I get it. |
I've found BSE is way more worth it than ZAGG...ZAGG charges $25 (regular price) for the same thing that BSE sells for $7.99. Zagg charges way more because they fluff it up with fancy packaging...BSE ships it in a simple letter sized envelope. BSE for the win..and I've never had an issue with this orange peel thing with the BSE...had it on my iphone 2g and a couple bb's in the past few years |
Still did not get the item sigh... Decided to grab a bodyguardz as recommended by the guy at the store, thing is simply amazing does not feel rubbery and bumpy like invisible shield (used it on my iTouch) in fact its hardly visible unless you look closely. |
just ordered one for my bold & touch $5.7 USD / $6.1 CAD for shipping |
Ordered mine on the 26th? I think, anyways just got an email confirmation for shipping, I don't even have the phone yet haha. Stupid Rogers, hurry upppp. |
just ordered one... still free |
^ not really...theres shipping costs of like $2.xx :p |
When you get these, remember its a wet application. It looks like sh*t the first day, but it eventually turns out ok. |
Got it in the mail today, basically just the front and back cover for the "full body", sides are left open. Item came in a regular mail so no instructions, squeegee or application solution. Have not tried it casue the bodyguardz is perfectly applied on my phone and i am very happy with it. I will try the iTouch (which I ordered 1 day after) version when I get it since I don't like the rubbery condom feel of the zagg. |
Just got mine in the mail. But no phone to put it on yet =[ Quote:

Are we able to take off the stealth guard if we dont like it? |
Finally got the iPod Touch protectors today. Tore out the zaggs and slapped them on, decided to use a hairdryer to speed up the drying process. There are still a few micro water bubbles but overall it looks fantastic. It's identical to Bodyguardz, can hardly tell its there and it feels smooth and glossy to the touch but is not a fingerprint magnet. Too bad they do not have the same promotion for the iPad! Very pleased as it cost me less than $3 and works better (for me) than a $25 zagg. |
Just got my email confirmation today. Still waiting to get mine for my Torch. |
Just got my stealth guard for my iphone 4. Haven't tried it yet. My previous one has been peeling since I put it on... So this stealth guard is a completely clear guard? Is it a wet application? |

Lil update. So after allowing the stealthguard to dry on the itouch, I am surprised that it turned out to look BETTER than my $25 bodyguardz (which already look better than the Zagg). Basically it looks more glossy and there is a slight slippery feel to it (like you are touching a glass screen) decided to rip off the Bodyguardz from my iphone and installed the stealthguard instead! |
just received mine for the galaxy vibrant. what a piece of shit. isnt even a full body skin. no pieces for the bezel and the back piece only covers the flat part. not even worth the $3.. |
Did you guys make your own water solution |
Yeah, it's like three to four drops of dishwashing soap to a quarter cup of water. Make sure the dishwashing soap is not the creamy kind. Just dab your fingers with the solution and as you peel the screen protector back, just spread the solution over the sticky side of the screen protector with your fingers. Remember you don't have to pour the solution on the screen. Just use your fingers to dap the solution onto the screen protector. |
