Superdry is worn by a number of celebrities which include David Beckham, Ryan Phillippe, Ice T, Zac Efron, Helena Christensen and Bradley Cooper. Its funny that you wouldn't wear a certain brand of clothing because you've seen a celebrity or musician wear it. If the price is around your budget and it fits right who cares. Oh, I'm pretty sure Justin Beiber gets more pussy then you.

BTW, I just received my Brad Leather Jacket from Arkclothing.com and wasn't charged any taxes or duties.

Kingcong89 10-03-2010 01:55 PM

^ lol it's funny that you take it so personally. I didn't say I wouldn't wear something just because a celebrity I don't like wears it. It was a joke implying Justin Bieber ruins nice things and unfortunately I have to explain it to a sensitive person like you. I actually have a few jackets like the ones he wears but I don't like to associate him with it. I think you need to separate yourself from your clothing, instead of taking it as a personal attack on your style. Isn't it ironic that you're trying to point out personal style shouldn't be persuaded by other people yet you name drop people? I don't care if David Beckham wears it, if it's nice I like it.

Edit* Anyways, sorry for being immature and ruining the thread. Proceed with the posts.

The windcheater is a fairly old jacket isn't it? If it's the one I'm thinking of, I bought mine back in May

aikenluu918 10-14-2010 11:25 PM

Yeah it is, its actually a couple years old. i got mine in april, but its good for a fall jacket as well as a spring jacket

03c0upe 10-25-2010 06:48 PM

are the windcheater fairly thin? pretty much a windbreaker?

aikenluu918 10-25-2010 08:59 PM

Yep, its from the UK, I always thought it was a Japanese brand until i saw these stores all over London.

And here's the kicker, its somewhat of a cheap brand there....not like old navy cheap but kinda like a UK Hollister/Abercrombie.

Its way over priced here.

bcedhk 11-01-2010 12:06 AM

yah, UK and germany had superdry all over the place. I got my t-shirt there for like 30 pounds?

ShadowBun 11-07-2010 01:13 AM

are there any physical store or Canadian based online stores that sell superdry?
I dont really want to get hit by a $30 duty for an $100 jacket.

ilvtofu 11-07-2010 10:23 PM

Theres another windcheater they have at plenty which has kind of a fleece lining for $160
it's pretty average thickness for jacket that doesn't have a down fill

Its not Canadian but I've ordered from Arkclothing.com twice and wasn't hit with any taxes/duties since it was marked as a gift, it also came out cheaper then if I were to buy it locally even with the 18GBP International Delivery Surcharge.
