I think it's because they expected Rick to be honorable and reveal what he knew in the first place. I also think it's because they see him as the leader, so he happens to be a lightning rod for blame from everyone. The group just went through a ton of crap in that episode, and to hear they're all carriers may have made their tempers/frustrations boil over.
Rick definitely showed some attitude. He's no longer entirely a black or white character. The events affected him too, so he's defensive, for most of the right reasons. I suppose he's tired of taking crap and not dispensing it.
Hershel must've had that unlimited ammo hack on his shotgun...
edit: anybody want to explain to me why Lori had that shit-stink look on her face when Rick told her what Carl did to Shane? I wanted to reach into my screen and slap her damn face.

I was curious about the hooded character too ... so I tried looking it up and this was the best I could find ... so badass ... can't wait for season 3

Merle Dixon who was chained on the rooftop in the first season but cut off his hand to run away ... he's scheduled to come back in the third season ... him and Daryl are pretty badass too imo

seems like the main antagonist in season 3 is going to be someone known as THE GOVERNOR and this is what i found"
"It was shown that his public name, aside from 'The Governor' was Philip Blake, however, with the release of the canonical novel The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor, it was revealed that his actual name was Brian Blake. Phillip was revealed to be his deceased brother.
When the dead began to rise, Philip gathered together a large number of survivors, numbering almost 40, and established a semi-secure settlement in Woodbury (the novel provides background to this, by already having a community of survivors in Woodbury, with a leader and a small group of ruthless National Guardsmen), clearing and guarding almost four city blocks, upon which he declared himself "Governor" (as "President" would be going too far). Initially appearing a fair and strong leader, Brian was truly a monster; he only helped people to benefit himself, as long as they followed his every command. He had a daughter (the novel refers to as 'Penny') who became a zombie; he kept her tied up in his apartment, feeding her severed body parts of those who displeased him."
