Mini's as in Mini Coopers?

The Budget rental in Chinatown use to have mini's with the CVT's.

Also, Co-operative auto has mini's that they rent out.

Zip car is pretty affordable and they include a lot in their membership, they cover the gas and insurance you just pay by the hour

If I just want to rent a mini for a day, is it worth becoming a member of ZipCar?

You'll probably need to contact Zipcar or Co-operative auto to see how much their memberships cost.

But it is a pretty good alternative to a car rental agency. Co-op is great if you are near SFU while ZipCar is great if you are downtown.

Rental companies probably thought having the Mini to rent was a good idea just because they are so unique.

Until they realized they are POS cars and the costs to keep them maintained made them a very poor choice in a rental fleet.

Mr. Rent-A-Car does have Minis. Theres 2 black convertibles, 1 silver convertible, and 1 red. Most of the cars were gone in the summer due to Discount Rent a car closing down and them forwarding everything to Mr. Rent-A-Car. I worked for them in the summer.. its legit.
