Anyone else's shaw internet been super slow? I'm downloading at 80 kb/sec on $$$$$$$$$$ premium account and speedtested at 6 mbit/sec. Using extreme.

Using extreme. Killarney area. Internets been cutting out on and off for the past couple of days.

Yep van west area. Been really slow last couple of days. 80-90k direct connection to modem at times!

Yeah . My internet is extremely slow right now

Damn, that's terrible. My iPhone did a 200MB app in 12 minutes yesterday over 3G! :)

Internet cut out some 5 mins ago again, but back online now. This is getting a bit annoying..

i dont think its only shaw..

yesterday morning Telus internet was down or something for about 3 hrs.... i thought i should reboot the modem... but still no good... so i just played SC2 for 3 hrs and went online and it worked again...

Mines been cutting out, but only for like 2 mins tops each time. Sometimes the modem lights would reset, other times the lights stay on but the webpages take forever to load.

I thought it was my avg acting up so I disabled the web shield and pages loaded alot quicker

i can go check later when i get to work if there's any known issues around that area if you want. and run a modem diagnostic for you ~ pm me ur address or the phone # on the acc if interested

Richmond - 3 road area - super laggy, especially from 6 - 10 PM, I couldn't even open facebook with streaming set to max of 20kb/s.

On Shaw in PoCo here. Had to reset my modem 3 times in the last 3 days.

my modem dc every 10min yesterday -__-

anyone having issues with their connection? some pages load some pages require refresh to load again because it 404s.

i just downloaded sc2 online..
it took me around 2hrs for the 7gig file.. shaw extreme

haha standard procedure for us.. tell the cx to by pass the router..
yes it's lame.. but work wonders..

and please don't ever call in to shaw and expect us to provide you support with ur router.. those 3rd party company don't pay me to provide you support for those :)

I have no idea what a CX is, and is this "solution" in reference to my problem (as well as van19) where some pages load and some 404 randomly.

I am using a top-of-the-line router though. It's possible it's a router problem?... Unless you're doing direct-connect of course.

I have a buddy in Richmond who has the exact same plan as I have but he suffers with slower speeds and performances. Location can also be a possible factor.

What router r u using to get 30Mbps? impressive.

^ The max I ever gotten with turbo boost was 20Mbps.
