i agree ive got no problem with the act of him burning shit but what i do have a problem with is that its going to perpetuate the growing hatred inside the states (and likely abroad)
towards Muslims you can't say that it won't and you can't just deem it "free speech" as cases like these just lead to more acts of hatred and leads to great forms of violence/hate
(like the attempted murder and arsons and pipe bombing that has already arisen)
and on the flip side its going to cause extremists on the other end of the spectrum to do the same its just going to pile hate on top of hate and lead to something no sane person wants
however since we 'sane' people don't really care about the psychos going at it, we let it be, and as a result we won't be able to do anything when the shit hits the fan (and it will)
as it would be out of control by then (history has shown us countless times that this is exactly what happens)
that's why we see Obama, The Pope, etc coming out and chiming in because they can see that pile of shit heading close to the fan
that's why i love Canada so much with our anti-hate speech/crime laws

but as per the message of mine you quoted (the attempted murder, pipe bombings, arson are not from Muslims but from people of the same anti-muslim mindset as this pastor who attacked Muslims in the USA)
I was talking about the building growing hatred against Muslims in America its not just 50 inbred followers i think that much is evident; in the case of this Pastor sure he has 50 followers at his church but across the country there are thousands of like minded people who will be bolstered by the medias attention of this nut job.

- I have AGREED that extremists on both sides are the problem.
- I have NOT said that there are NO rational muslims protesting the extremists, I have suggested that they need to do a better Job of doing so.
The rationals in America could probably do a better job themselves by not giving guys like the florida fuck the time of day, or so much as a second of TV time.
But I would consider the extremist muslims far more irrational than the extremist Christians in the U.S. I haven't heard any extremist U.S. Christians flying planes into buildings or burning embassies lately...

cant remember what documentary it was.... religulous?? or some other that showed how powerful the church is within the us army and how it influences the structures design and yadda yada
but it certainly painted the picture that christian extremists with their lobbying and entrenchment in the military have been pushing through, successfully, a dangerous ideology that's more advanced than some farmers in caves
oh i remember... it wasnt religiulous but another documentary about the church and america rented it from blockbuster but cant recall the name :/ the guy who made it is a bishop in the vatican
