Has anyone had any issues regarding 3rd party browsers being corrupted after a major update ? My GF uses Flock and I use Opera and they both stopped working properly after the most recent update (and this isn't the first time, either). Flock will no longer connect to social apps or sites like Facebook and Opera crashes after about 5 minutes. I downloaded Firefox and Chrome and they have similar issues to Flock with similar plug-ins installed.

Good thing I barely use our Macs, otherwise I'd go insane ...

I've been using Chrome and Firefox and have all the updates installed - no issues here.

This isn't the first time it has happened ... My GF was using Firefox last year on her iMac and it did the same thing ... Now again on BOTH her iMac and Macbook this year ...

i cant get my logitech mx revolution to work with my new mbp, any ideas?
it worked on the very first day, but the very next day it doesnt work, it seems as if it's not detecting the usb receiver or something. i tried both the usb ports, restarted, nothing works. the receiver and mouse for sure works on a windows machine.

any ideas?

Not really, as with the new unibody MB & MBP, it's quite easy to change the HD & RAM yourself if they crap out on you after the regular warranty runs out. With the older ones, it was very difficult to swap out the HD yourself, and if you broke anything like those one million little tabs securing the bottom plate to the body, it would very well end up costing you more for repairs.

i replaced my fan + superdrive on my old style non unibody macbook pro. It was time consuming and frustrating to pry open the body but not that hard honestly.

My gf has the newer unibody and i just help her install sum ram. I'm very impress with how easy it is to work with but not having quick removable battery is still a concern for me

Has anyone purchased a refurbished Macbook Pro on apple.ca? It says there could be minor cosmetic damage so I am a little worried about purchasing one.

best bet is to go futureshop where you can bargain and check out the open box models
