im confuzzled by this here Fred. |
why not just pay a local import shop to do it for you. 4 hour pay is more than enough |
^ cause shop charges $80 + / hour. he'll spend at least $200 bucks at a shop. I wonder has the parts been painted already? or you car is white and don't want to paint it? |
except shop fees are not $20/hr |

^ Except a shop is gonna charge him 2 hours to do it. So he'll be out $160 VS $80 |
Okay this is not going too well..anyone know a decent shop that wont rape me? |
post an ad on craigslist and you'll find someone right away. |

Well thats actually the first thing I did and no one has responded in 3 days. |
Here is an even better idea, go spend 80 and buy yourself some #@$@#$ tools. |
aftermarket body work is NEVER bolt on, that is unless your paying top dollar for name brand high end parts and even then there is almost always modification needed. rear diffusers are a pita to install, especially if you have an aftermarkey exhaust or anyting for that matter in the rear that wasn't on the car they designed the difuser on. your going about this all wrong. your asking for some random person with basically no experience with body work to do this install. if they have experience then they would know not to do this for 80 bucks. suck it up and pay shop rates to get a quality install. not something with wood screws and that will fall of within the first hour of road use. |
Where's that thread about some random guy in USA getting his 350Z bodykit installed with woodscrews and stuff when you need it? |
|
^ Oh dear god...that's horrifying. I think I speak for almost everyone here when I say that I could do a better job in my garage. I'm too lazy to read all 97 pages tho. |
Just get a shop to do it so that you don't have to look at your car everyday afterwards and see the small gaps and stuff from when you and they guy from craigslist tried to put in on yourself :P |
Anybody recommend a shop then? |
