ASH FROM POKEMON |
If I'm in the mood to actually dress up, and patient enough to sit still for a few hours, I'll be a be zombie (as shown in my avatar) |
I wore these contacts last year and a black suit with a nice yellow dress shirt. http://www.imagecask.com/images/3427...0284577312.jpg This year, same contacts but I'm wearing a priest costume. The contacts are 22mm in diameter. Just so you know, a quarter is 25mm. I've never worn contacts in my life before and the very first time I did wear them, I had to stick these huge things in my eye. Took a while to get used to but if you carry eye drops and use it every 30 minutes or so, it's not bad at all. It definitely got attention. It's very subtle yet people will take a second, and a third look at you just to make sure they aren't tripping balls. lol |
Since we are on the topic of Halloween. Does anyone have any idea to get rib of the smell of Halloween mask? Just bought a costume that comes with a mask and MY GOD the mask smell so bad >< I flip it inside out and it smell pretty bad (I am 1 to 2 feet away from it and I can smell it). It is made out of rubber with cloth attach to it. Thinking of washing it with warm water blow dry and then spray some frebiee into it. Do you guys think it would work? |

Method #1 Ajax, powder, and Lavender- First pour some baby powder into the Halloween mask. Let the powder remain inside the mask for 10 minutes. Rinse the mask with very hot water followed by cold. Towel dry the mask. Make sure the mask is completely dry. Repeat the powder process again. This time, once the powder is added squirt some Ajax into the mask. Rub the powder and Ajax all over the mask. Make sure to cover all areas. Allow the mixture to stay on Halloween mask for 5 minutes. Rinse off with cool water and towel dry. Once the mask is completely dried in all areas drop a few squirts of either Lavender or Vanilla essential oil. If you just use baby powder the rubber smell will still remain. It will only mask the smell not get rid of it. Method #2 Hot water with soap and baking soda- Fill up the sink with very hot water. Then place the Halloween mask into the water. Wash the mask with soap like you would your arm or leg. Let the water empty and rinse mask with cool water. Now towel dry the mask and place baking soda all over. |
^^ Try it didn't really work ><. It works for about 30mins but I just smell the mask again and the rubbery smell is comming back >< |

hey murd0c. I went as a Saudi prince last year and it was a great costume. I definitely recommend it. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._1655006_n.jpg I was in Saudi Arabia a few years back so I picked mine up over there... but I don't know of any local stores that sell thawb's, so you might have to pick up the clothing online. |
